The Weekly: Stack of Shame
10 books I'm afraid to admit I haven't read yet. PLUS: Recap of private dinner at NMAAHC and TTT tomorrow! Might move Talia's Coloring Corner to Wednesday, because Love Island. Lmaooooo.
Happy Monday!
War and heat wave aside, I hope you had a good week! SIGH.
Tuesday was fabulous! I was one of 12 influencers invited to the National Museum of African American History and Culture to preview this year’s Juneteenth menu, which is available now through June 26 at the Sweet Home Cafe. It was my first time on the fifth floor terrace. Stunning!
The weather really didn’t allow Juneteenth to be great! I’m mad for every Black person that ever lived. I was out for only like 90 minutes. Ugh.
Other than catching up on the Real Housewives of Atlanta for the Talia Talks TV podcast, nothing else of note this week. The mega catch up podcast episode drops TODAY here.
I just need to get through this last full week of work before ESSENCE Fest! I love New Orleans so bad.
Wedding on Friday. Museum and brunch meetup with paid Substack subscribers on Saturday. Book event featuring my girls prettylittlebookshelf and Alex Elle on Sunday.
