The Weekly: My Travel Itinerary Template
For the girls who like to travel AND leave nothing to chance. PLUS: Palette 22 DC and El Presidente restaurant reviews and songs I'm loving right now.
Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great week, and you’re having a great three-day weekend (if you have one).
This week was a little hectic than the week the lawsuit was filed. Still did some press, but I managed better.
Palette 22 DC invited me and friend to dinner on Wednesday. We don’t have to drive to Arlington anymore! It’s a beautiful warehouse-y space in Union Market. Two floors, a rooftop patio and artwork from local artists. I understand the mixed reviews about the DC location’s food. The menu is different from the VA one, and weekend brunch seems to be the preferred offering at both location. I did enjoy my cocktail. hummus, Taiwanese carrots and tempura corn. Because of the globally-inspired small plates and atmosphere, Palette 22 is great for groups and date night.
I was back at Union Market for an impromptu Sunday night dinner. I’ve also heard mixed reviews about El Presidente. BEAUTIFUL GOWNS. It’s a gorgeous and moody space that could easily be on South Beach. Like its sister restaurants Le Diplomate, Pastis and St. Anslem, El Presidente has a strong identity. The food, inspired by Mexico City’s cuisine, was meh. The guacamole, Cucarachas and frozen pineapple margaritas were delicious!
This week is going to be fun! Celebrating one last May birthday, grabbing brunch, getting in some culture at the Kennedy Center (code SHOUT25 for 25% off tickets) and drinking all the Rosé (code TALIA15 for 15% off tickets).

Talia Talk Tuesdays
Last week’s Talia Talk Tuesdays was a little chaotic with ABC News filming the first hour. Tomorrow, we’re back to normal. I PROMISE!
See you May 28 at 8 pm ET on TikTok Live.
The Newness has been updated
I was supposed to be dropping new Spotify playlists this month, but life got in the way. I did update my playlist of current favorite songs though. You can listen to the updated The Newness playlist here.
My Group Travel Itinerary
You know how I travel. I swear by my itineraries, as seen in my Las Vegas, New Orleans, Houston and South Africa travel vlogs.
Two weeks ago, I shared why my girls’ trips don’t end in chaos and confusion. My group trip itinerary, which you can view, copy and download here, keeps everything together.
The magic of my group trip itinerary is the table on the first page. Everyone fills out their hotel and flight information. They can come and go whenever, and stay wherever. We’re grown.
The table allows me the planner to know who will be in town when, so I can book excursions and dining reservations accordingly. It also helps the group see what everyone else is doing with flights and accommodations.
